All (but in particular) Lyssien,
I'm using your training schedule (Gary) for my squad (Inter) and also for my young stars since 1 year (start of game). Now I'm at the start of my second season and although I'm very happy for the results on my first squad players, I cannot say the same for my youngster.

I'm looking at CM Scout to see how their overall current ability improves and these are the improvements in more than one year:

Player Pos (Pot.Ab) 4/8/03 14/1 31/3 16/5 15/7 1/9/04 Diff.

Atanasov DC (195) 80 85 89 89 91 91 11
Marten DC (192) 66 84 84 84 90 90 24
Regivan DL (191) 79 88 88 88 88 92 13
Massa DC (189) 14 25 28 28 32 32 18
Conte DR (188) 52 74 74 74 74 74 22
Hawar M. MR (200) 126 126 126 126 126 126 0
Song DMC (196) 93 100 111 111 112 112 19
Falbo FR (200) 66 87 90 90 106 106 40
Matter MC (191) 60 60 66 70 75 75 15

As you can see these are very little except for Falbo (+40 is not bad) (or maybe they're normal for CM, but, in that case, a young player with high potential would take 10 years to become a good player) also because the players are far away from their full potential

Also note:
1) My training facilities are very good (the best in CM)
2) I have 3 trainers and 2 physios (everyone with 'very good' or 'superb' reputation) assigned to their schedule
3) They play almost every week (and sometimes someone also in my first squad) and the schedule has the rest day on their right match day (friday)
4) Almost everyone is happy and they won the U21 Championship

Did you notice the same thing that happened to me?

PS: did you notice that a new release of Mind Compression is out? The new features are: Scouting option added and Playing style and playing mentality added for all managers (also yourself). No coaching values for now ::roll:

Nickcabo, the results that you 've mentioned here are very good. In the case of Falbo, they are excellent.
You normally don't expect your players to improve +30/40 every year. This might happen, but not often, and not for many.
Also, players seem to choose some years to improve more than in others, which I don't know why is happening, but that's the way it is.
Now Howar is an interesting case. I think that he might need some first-team matches (if he os old enough) or maybe he is just waiting for the right moment to get his improvement going (if he is still too young).
Unfortunately, a lot of random parameters come into it, and I cannot be more specific. But if you use this schedule and handle your players as you would IRL (start giving them first-team matches when the time is right), then everything is gonna be OK.
BTW, yes, it IS possible that some players might underdevelop in the long run (albeit rare), but this can happen to any schedule, because of random factors built into the game.

PS. The improvement i not going to be the same every year for each player.

Thrassos,
thanks for answering me so soon.

Now Atanasov, Hawar, Regivan and Song are in my first team. They, as the others in my first team, play one match and rest the other (I have 22 players in rotation).
This four (almost all of them 21 years old) had played 5-10 matches in first squad during first season (not playing too bad)
Now I'm starting second season, and then, if you like, I can update you with their improvements.

Thanks again

Cheers
