As some of you know, the next major update for Football Manager Live (version 1.2) is just around the corner.
In order to cover all our bases and to make sure that the update is ready for release, we need some people to help us with BETA testing.
BETA testing, I hear you say? Haven?t you done that already?
Well yes, but up until now, we?ve been making changes regularly so we need to make sure, now that the code is locked down, that everything is working correctly.
We are going to be doing this in three different ways.
1) Continuing with our current BETA testing worlds, Coppell.
2) Opening up a brand new BETA testing world.
3) Taking a copy of an existing world to test the import procedure.
This will be gameworld Fernandez. Managers in this gameworld will be contacted separately early next week with instructions on how to get involved.
If you?re interested in giving us a hand with the first two (and fancy a sneak peak at the latest features before they get imported into the live worlds), then all you have to do is click here
and fill in some basic team details to register your interest.
You can find out a lot more about the background to Version 1.2 and the BETA testing on the blogs.
Soon after that, we will then get in touch and let you know how to join the BETA gameworlds.
Be prepared though, there are some requirements that we ask of all our BETA testers:
1. We?ll need you to log in as often as you can for the duration of the BETA test.
2. We?ll need you to log in for any stress tests.
3. We?ll need you to report any bugs or problems as and when you find them in the forums.
As well as these, since it?s a BETA, the game-play may well be disrupted throughout the test in the form of outages, although we?ll do our best to communicate these to you in advance.
That all said, it?s a great opportunity to get a sneak preview of what?s coming up as well as being part of improving Football Manager Live for the future.
Looking forward to seeing you in there,
The Football Manager Live Team
