8.0.2 Football Manager patch released As you are no doubt aware, it Valentine's Day! And, just in case you haven't got any cards, we have a lovely Valentine's day gift for you (with love). Of course, it's the Football Manager 2008 update patch v8.0.2.

The update includes all of the transfers from the January transfer window and the latest (and hopefully final) patch for Football Manager 2008, Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008 & Futbol Manager 2008 - you can find the right update for your version of the FM patch at the link below.

FAQ 8.02
-Πώς κάνω install το patch;

Αφού το κατεβάσεις το βρίσκεις, εαν είναι .rar το αποσυμπιέζεις πρώτα, διαφορετικά τρέχεις το .exe αρχείο και αυτό βρίσκει αυτόματα που είναι installed το FM2008. Πατάς το κουμπί ''update'' και είσαι έτοιμος!

- Εάν δεν έχω installed το 8.01 patch (δηλαδή κανένα) θα πρέπει πρώτα να κατεβάσω το 8.01 και μετά το 8.02;

Όχι, δεν είναι ανάγκη αφού το 8.02 patch περιλαμβάνει τις αλλαγές του 8.01 τόσο σε κώδικα όσο και στην database.

- Θέλω να ξεκινήσω νέο παιχνίδι με τις διορθώσεις του patch, αλλά χωρίς τις μεταγραφές του Γενάρη γιατί το θεωρώ μη ρεαλιστικό κάτι τέτοιο! Γίνεται;

Βεβαίως και γίνεται αρκεί όταν πας να αρχίσεις νέο παιχνίδι να επιλέξεις την κατάλληλη db (όχι την 8.02).

- Μπορώ να συνεχίσω το υπάρχον save game μου εαν εγκαταστήσω το patch 8.02;

Ναι.

- Εαν βάλω το patch 8.02 θα λάβουν χώρα όλες οι αλλαγές που αναφέρονται σε αυτό στα save game μου;

Θα γίνουν μόνο οι αλλαγές στον κώδικα και όχι στη database. Οι ειδικοί συνιστούν πάντως new game.

- Από τη στιγμή που έβαλα το patch 8.02 σε κάθε νέο μου παιχνίδι μου δεν μου εμφανίζεται η εθνική Γερμανίας και κάποια ονόματα ομάδων δεν είναι σωστά (όπως συνέβαινε και αρχικά)

Πρέπει να ξανακάνεις την ίδια δουλειά που έκανες τότε. Πήγαινε στο φάκελο C:\games\Football Manager 2008\data\updates\update-802\db\802\ και κάντε DELETE τον φάκελο lnc. Για να λάβουν χώρα οι αλλαγές χρειάζεται new game.
